When will I see results from taking Metabolife?
Meratrim, the primary ingredient in Metabolife, was assessed in two similarly designed randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 8-week clinical trials that together included a total of 100 human subjects. Participants ate a 2,000 calorie per day diet and walked 30 minutes daily, 5 days per week. Pooled results of these studies showed that, within 2 weeks, those using Meratrim lost +60% more weight than the placebo group.
What does the Garcinia cambogia/(Super CitriMax®/(–)hydroxycitric acid in Metabolife do for me?
A clinical study found that Garcinia cambogia (as Super CitriMax®) providing (–)hydroxycitric acid helped reduce appetite, as seen by a 15-30% reduction in calorie intake. Metabolife contains the same amount of Super CitriMax® used in this study.

Why does Metabolife contain caffeine?
Caffeine was included for sustained energy, helping to keep you motivated and on track towards achieving your weight loss goals. Research has shown that 200 mg or more of caffeine use has been associated with increased alertness and enhanced physical performance, and helping counter fatigue.
When is it best to take Metabolife?
In most cases, it is best to take supplements with a meal to help facilitate digestion and absorption of the supplement. In the case of Metabolife, you'll want to take 1 caplet 3 times daily, 30 minutes before each meal. We know you'll love Metabolife but we don't recommend exceeding 3 caplets per day.
Why does Metabolife contain chromium?
Chromium helps to reduce body fat while preserving lean muscle. This was demonstrated in an 8-week study with healthy overweight women. Those who exercised and took 200 mcg of chromium daily (as chromium polynicotinate) lost almost 5 pounds, reduced their body fat by 1% and had an increase in their lean muscle. Comparatively, those who just exercised but did not take chromium gained 0.7 pounds, reduced their body fat by 0.73% and had an increase in their lean muscle.
